Communication between partners
Before meetings: There has been put an effort into creating programs/agendas showing what we’re going to do during our visits. Student and teacher needs have been considered when planning the various meetings. By this making sure that all partners get the same information and making sure everyone know what they need to plan and do in advance. This way everyone is prepared and able to share information in advance which is very important.
During meetings: We have group meetings and evaluations. Talking about what went well and what could use improvement. This way we were also able to make sure everyone would contribute to the dialogue, listen/discuss and debate – teachers and students and we could prepare for our next gatherings.
After meetings: Evaluation and sharing information after meetings creating own reports and evaluation for Google Docs.
Google Docs: All partners have to have a Google account and ability to use Google Docs as it’s out platform for sharing information and documents. Also used Google Docs to collect information about project and sub projects such as water and Christmas traditions.
Common Internet platform: We have used various platforms such as a Blog, NING, Comenius Lifestyle site and Facebook to create a common ground for sharing information. There have been a bit of trouble using the various platform and account. Not everyone have had the same level of ICT skills or been as active on using the different platforms. Google has been a platform everyone has been able to use and Facebook is also a site where we still collecting and sharing information. It can be found on Facebook under: Healthy eating and physical activities to promote learning. Most of the schools within the project also have their very own school websites where information is shared.
Language: There have been language barriers within the project. As language skills improve and tools such as Google translate are used a good deal of the barriers have been knocked down.
